Description
The Argus is a compact and reliable diving knife designed for scuba divers, freedivers, and spearfishers who need a safe and versatile tool underwater. Its blade is made of high-quality tempered 420 stainless steel, offering excellent resistance to corrosion and long-lasting performance in saltwater environments. The design combines functionality and strength, with a dual-edge system that includes a razor-sharp straight side for clean cuts and a serrated side for sawing ropes, nets, and other fibrous materials. A built-in line cutter notch at the base of the blade allows fast and precise cutting of cords and monofilament lines without the need for a full stroke. The drop-point tip provides precision while maintaining durability, and the full tang construction ends in a steel butt cap that can also be used for underwater signaling or light impact tasks. The ergonomic handle is molded in a dual-material combination of rigid polymer and high-visibility yellow rubber. This ensures a secure, non-slip grip even when wearing gloves or working in challenging conditions, while the integrated guard prevents accidental slips. Lightweight and streamlined, the handle includes a lanyard hole for additional safety if needed. For secure storage, the Argus comes with a hydrodynamic sheath made of durable thermoplastic material. The sheath is equipped with a reliable quick-release locking system, allowing divers to draw the knife quickly with one hand while ensuring it remains safely in place when not in use. Two adjustable straps with stainless steel buckles are included, giving divers flexible mounting options on the leg or arm according to preference. Compact, practical, and built with attention to detail, the Argus is much more than a diving accessory—it is a safety tool every diver should carry. Its combination of cutting versatility, robust materials, and secure attachment makes it an essential piece of equipment for underwater adventures. The knife was designed in Italy by Cressi and made in Taiwan. Cressi has been an Italian brand pioneer in scuba diving, freediving, and snorkeling equipment since 1946. The product is covered by a 2-year limited warranty.
